Anushka Shetty is a South Indian film actress, who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie Super. But she gained popularity with 2005 blockbuster movie Vikramarkudu. Her first Kollywood movie is Rendu. Anushka has won Filmfare Award, Nandi Award, CineMAA Award and also received Kalaimamani Award for her works in Tamil industry. She was voted as Hyderabad's Most Desirable Woman of 2015. She will be seen in Baahubali 2 and Bhagmati.
Biography
Anushka was born as Sweety Shetty on 7 November 1981 in Banglore, Karnataka. She completed her graduation in BCA from Mount Caramel College of Banglore University. She wished to do PG in Computer Science but was not fulfilled. She was also featured in several television commercials. Apart from films and ads, she is a Yoga Instructor and got trained under yoga guru Bharat Thakur. She can speak in Tulu, Telugu, Tamil, English and Kannada languages.

Actress Anushka Shetty is an ethnic Tuluva hails from the landed Bellipady Uramalu Guthu family. Her father is Vittal Shetty and mother Prafulla Shetty. She has two elder brothers. Her first brother Sai Ramesh Shetty, is a cosmetic surgeon got married to Saloni Rai. Her second brother Gunaranjan Shetty is a businessman.
Career
Anushka has started her acting career with Puri Jagannath's film "Super" alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna. She got her big break with 2006 movie "Vikramarkudu". In 2008 she had appeared in six films and then starred in the fantasy film "Arundhati". This movie has gained her "Nandi Special Jury Award" and "Filmfare Best Actress Award". In 2017 she was seen Om Namo Venkatesaya and Singam 3. Baahubali: The Conclusion is the second part of director SS Rajamouli's Baahubali series. The part one actors Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah and Rana Daggubati will reprise their roles in this film. The trailer will be out on 15th March and movie will be released on 28 April 2017.
